Film rights have already been sold to Sony for Terry McMillian's new book, but I am sure you knew that was going to happen. I wonder if Angela will be in it.

I'm a Terry McMilian fan. She is the queen of the sistagirl fiction, and not because she sold like crazy, but because she can write too.
I have much respect for her because of what she did in terms of opening the doors for a new type of book by a black writer.
As for her films, they haven't been artistic gems, but in their own way have catered to a neglected audience.
