Writers Workshop in Guadeloupe. Harlem Arts Salon offers a 2-week summer fiction and poetry workshop from June 4-10, 2006 (fiction) and from June 11-17, 2006 (poetry). Faculty includes acclaimed-novelist Maryse Conde and Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott. Program includes workshops, lectures, one-on-one critiques, public readings by faculty, continental breakfast, seaside lodgings. 15 participants per session.
